Harrison Elementary Parents and Community,
It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as principal this year! This is my fifth year in educational leadership. Prior to becoming principal, at Harrison I was the assistant principal at Lincoln Elementary also in East Chicago. Even with these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart. I also have many years of classroom teaching experience in East Chicago Schools. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, and a Master’s of Education from Ball State University. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.
It is my privilege to lead Harrison Elementary and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture at Harrison that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each individual student and teacher can experience growth to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community this year!
