It is my pleasure to continue serving you as principal this year! Before becoming principal at Harrison, I served as the assistant principal at Lincoln Elementary, also here in East Chicago. Even with these wonderful experiences, I will always consider myself a teacher at heart, with many years of classroom teaching experience in East Chicago Schools.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, and a Master’s in Education from Ball State University. As a lifelong learner, I strive to model for both students and teachers that we should never stop growing.

It is truly a privilege to lead Harrison Elementary and work alongside our talented teachers and students. My goal is to foster a supportive school climate and culture that promotes both teaching and learning, so every student and teacher can reach their fullest potential. I look forward to partnering with all members of our school community throughout the year!
